These are in airtight, individual wrappers, within their box. The packages tear open easily. The top layer has a graze-like appearance over the ingredients. The bottom is a thicker than stiff frosting consistently, but, not as hard as chocolate. These are sweet, but not in an overpowering way. The grains and nuts give this great texture as well as something to really sink my teeth into. I like that these are not a hard or crunchy snack. The 2 layers combine to make such a tasty treat with multiple types of flavors. I love the salty/sweet combination and think it's genius! These are substantial enough to hold off hunger for a few hours between meals though. I wouldn't mind their being a larger version though I admit. These are tasty, chewy, filling sweet, and salty snacks that I would highly recommend.

I've been a long-time fan of Nature Valley bars, and their Sweet & Salty Nut line is a common sight in my pantry. Each bar feels substantial, packed with nuts, and definitely delivers on its promise of being both sweet and salty. While I genuinely enjoy these and highly recommend them for a convenient and tasty snack, I have to admit, the Cashew Sweet & Salty Nut bars still hold the top spot in my heart. There's just something about the creaminess and unique flavor of the cashews that makes them my absolute favorite. Nevertheless, if the cashew ones are out of stock, or if you're an almond enthusiast, these are an excellent alternative and consistently a good bet for a quick, satisfying bite.
