Filtrete Water Pitcher

This pitcher refills exceptionally fast and holds a lot of water compared to other brands, which is why I purchased it. (I previously used a Brita water faucet filter in the kitchen, but my family hated the awkwardness and slow water flow.) The Filtrete water tastes great, plus I like that the filter is recyclable. Highly recommend this pitcher, but suggest you mark your calender for the 3-month replacement date. I'm on my 2nd replacement filter and each time I've had to replace it before the filter indicated. That is the only reason why I gave "Meets Expectations" a 4 star rating instead of 5.

We always (luckily) had well water but recently moved and now have city water which tastes awful and smells like swimming pool water. We had been using the filtered water dispensed from our refrigerator to drink and also make coffee, tea, and to cook with, but it took forever to fill up a pot! We looked at all the brands of pitchers and decided on this one. It has surpassed our expectations. The water tastes great and there is no smell whatsoever! The pitcher is easy to use and because of the fast fill time, I am able to keep the pitcher full at all times. I use this filtered water for everything now! It's very handy and I find that I am drinking more water because of it. The filters are also reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this product! One bit of advice: when filling the pitcher with tap water, be sure to NOT let the water run over the top of the filter and do NOT overfill otherwise you will end up with unfiltered water mixed in with the filtered water.
