Fiebing's Professional Oil Dye - 4 ounce. A new, improved version of our traditional leather dye. Professional Oil Dye is also an alcohol-based dye created specifically for natural strap leather, vegetable tanned leather and bag & case leather. Excellent coverage and superior colorfastness. All of the colors on this chart are the most accurate representations of these products on leather than we have ever had as they are digital images of the dyes and stains directly on vegetable tanned leather pieces. Looking to redye leather? Putting a new dye on existing finish is a difficult business. When touching up, redyeing, or refinishing leather, solvent-based dyes like Fiebing's are extremely unpredictable, and are not recommended. Fiebing's is best used on natural, vegetable tanned leather, with no existing finish. *IMPORTANT* - This item is not available in California.
