We've brewed and fermented things before, but the process can be so overwhelming. I read the description and was wondering how much easier the instructions made the whole process. I dropped off the kids at the house and threw the packet in the house, briefly mentioning it to my husband and headed to the store for a quick supply run, thinking I would get to it when I returned . Actually, it was my husband who opened it and called to say how the process of preparing the fermentation had gone. He was done well before I got home and I didn't have to beg. The easier it is to brew a fermentation, the more likely it will get done. Oh, and we love how it smells. It's nice having confidence that lots of good bacteria are in there
