The carpet is longer than I expected and did not shrink with machine washing. It is real carpet bound on the edges. No slip grip on the back. Since it is more like carpet, it doesn't slide out of place like a woven cotton runner.

What it says it is.

You get exactly what is says/shows that it is. It was perfectly what I wanted it to be. Yes, it comes folded instead of rolled, but the creases come out. Previous reviewers need to be more patient. My only set back, is that when washing in my washing machine (big enough for a king comforter) it seems like the dirty water sits into the creases that are created when crammed in there, so it never comes out quite perfectly clean looking. I am playing with wash cycles to remedy that tho, and it is no reflection on the rug itself. It's a little expensive, but isn't every rug? Would and probably will buy again.
