These boots are awesome! Great for Washington wet %26 cold weather, The traction is really great, they are heavily lined with a sheepskin type material to keep little feet warm. They are not bright yellow but more of a dijon mustard color (very neutral for either sex). My toddler wears an 8 and these are a "kids 11" but the sizing is off. They are more like a toddler 9, (a 10 would be a stretch) but definitely not a kids 11. It's fine for me because she'll be able to wear them sooner. She'll get a lot of wear out of these.

I wasn't really sure about choosing these because the picture makes them look so so bright yellow. In person they are a pleasant yellow. Have a wonderful tread on the bottom. The inside has nice soft fleece. These boots could be worn by a boy or girl the color is so neutral. I would just use regular socks with them in the winter. In the fall just tripping around in mud they could be worn without socks because of the nice soft fleece lining I am really happily surprised with these boots . They do need to air a bit after coming out of box because they are rubber . I would recommend these to friends and family.
