I purchased this for my bird/plant room. Unless you have large birds you probably can't understand what an advantage this broom has to a regular broom or floor vac. For one my macaw likes to chew on his toys and there are wood pieces everywhere, I use a washable rug underneath his cage. I can't use rug vac because the rug is too thin, I can't use the floor vac till all the big pieces are up. This broom does the trick without flinging the pieces around the room. It works so well, I barely need to vacuum! I also use this on my rug after my dog shreds a bad. This makes vacuuming easier, since the small pieces do not clog the vacuum. This broom is a kepper for sure 👍🏻
