Expert Grill Charcoal Briquets 8lb

Ive been using Expert Grill brand charcoal for over 5 years now. They are consistently reliable in the smoker for hams, turkeys, ribs, and roasts!!! Shown below you'll see in the pictures my standard setup for 4 hour plus smoking of meats. With experience you'll be able to come up with the right setup for all your cooking needs from slow smoking to grilling. These briquettes provide reliable and consistent heat levels to adjust from 200-600 degrees. I use them all year long and smoke thru-out the winter months too. Smoking Easter Hams for family and friends in the snow here in Montana is a yearly tradition... There will be some initial difference in cold temps for starting so i usually allow 30 minutes to ready for coals instead of 12 to 15. In sub zero weather it can be even longer but once you have grey coals you can count on your burn rate, and that makes all the difference in smoking low and slow meats... Ive never had any funny tastes in my food from using these briquettes. Expert Grill brand also makes a "Lump Charcoal" that works great for grilling steaks, and Pizzas. It burns hot and fast, (I'm assuming because it has more oxygen in it not being a pressed briquette). I would and have recommended these briquettes to friends and family. At 30% less thsn other brands i really cant see a reason to pay more for a name... Happing Grilling!!!

I had to get another bag of this Expert grill charcoal briquettes . Price is good and this charcoal lights quickly and is ready as said .Burns slow and even. Makes meat taste better than the other. This will be my favorite charcoal for grilling. Thanks!!
