We am very pleased with our ExactMade clear placemats. They are thick and lay completely flat. We lay them over delicate hand made placements we don't want to soil. They are almost invisible. We had occasion to contact Exactmade customer service and they responded immediatly and resolved our concern by going over and above. If you'r looking for clear heavy duty place mats you couldn't do better than these placemats by ExactMade.

Toxic odor

It's supposed to be BPA safe, and it's a placemat, but it smells like a toxic chemical. It's a beautiful product but it's not safe for use as a placemat due to the toxic odor. No one wants to inhale a toxic chemical odor, especially while they're dining.
