It's easy for children to use and preteens even toddlers, but you have to watch the toddlers, any bad thing about it for me was having to squeeze a little top to get it out of there to put the battery in and make sure there is a battery unit, but it's it'll be fun for the kids. I bought two for my two granddaughters and they seemed to like it.
