Amazing light and cheap w/battery!
First, this single LED flashlight comes with an Eveready D cell battery installed, only needs ONE battery, just remove the stickered insulators to activate. LED bright spot light surrounded by an extremely wide span of light. Subsequently, I bought so many of these as stocking stuffers; bright, dependable, and not heavy too for the females in the family. Skeptical, initially buy just one like myself.

Good, cheap 1D battery LED flashlight
I believed that I bought the newest version of this 1D battery flashlight. It states on the package: 5x (not 8x), 25 lumens, 60 hours runtime. I tried and liked the beam pattern. It was evenly from flood to spot without any annoying corona ring. The torch comes with a hard, clear plastic lens, not easy to break; a true plastic reflector which helps to put out the even beam; a true rectangular LED with a circuit board below it to generate enough current for 25 lumens (not 9 or 7 lumen for older version). All of these deal breakers for just 2 bucks? It was on sale for $2.00 a piece. Just a cheap reliable flashlight that everyone can afford to get a couple of them to use around the house or in the cars - just in case of an emergency. I would buy more for myself - and you too - they won't hurt your bank when you loose or break them.
