High preforming work gear!!

I have purchased and tested the GloWear 8384 hi-viz winter quilted parka- Type R, Class 3 twice now in the past 6 years. These jackets are highly durable, visible, retain a high degree of retroreflextivity through a numerous amount of wash loads and intense work load. Stains at times are difficult to remove, stitching is accurate and highly durable. If you wear thermal clothing underneath even in negative 15 Degrees, the inside remains roughly between 65 and 80 degrees inside depending on a wind factor. Draw strings hold up to strainious use and wear ( I'm very tough on all things I have by habit, my colleges and friends refer to things in high quality as " Tim Proof", my name. Sleeving preforms excellent in all weather conditions and mesh well with many type of gloves to retain insulation. Pockets l and water pocket covers stand up to many applications and active use ( the covers stay attached far better then other equipment I've tested ) Over all I reat the jacket at about an 8.9 of 10, I am very critical so that is a very high rating coming from me.

Great jacket! Perfect for Central New York winters. Good fit VERY warm. Wore it while clearing out fire hydrants at below zero temps and was sweating so I couldn't keep it zipped all the way . Especially like the length. it does not ride up when you bend over. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Not as Warm

I thought, based upon your specifications, it would be a warmer jacket. The chest and back area have the nice insulation, but the arms have ordinary knitted nylon type? My arms are very cold even on warmer (20-30 degree) days. I expected the entire jacket to be fitted with the better insulation.
