Ergodyne Clear Lens Gray Otg Safety Goggles Neoprene Strap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The days of relying on standard safety glasses are over! We've all been there. You don your sun hat and flimsy eye pro. Grab a bottle of water and set off for what you plan to be a productive day tending to your lawn. You finish the mowing and proceed to the trimming. 30 seconds in and a tiny piece of grass has slipped past the defense of your glasses and landed in your eye. You spend the rest of the afternoon attempting to flush out the foreign object. You finally manage to remove it but not before irritating your eye to the point that you put off the rest of the job until the following week. What luck. You feel that you can no longer trust your chosen eyewear for it is clearly not capable of stopping all possible threats to your precious vision. If only there were a better option. Well...here it is! The Ergodyne Skullerz MODI Goggles are a pleasure to wear. They sit very comfortably around the head and are held tightly (but not too tight) with the adjustable strap. For my test, I used the goggles for the entire duration of cutting my 1.5 acre property. I use a headset to listen to music and as notification of incoming calls. The use of my headset was not effected by the goggles at all. A complete seal is created around the wearer's face. Without a proper seal, there will always be a chance of unwanted debris entering the eyes. The anti-fog claim holds true. Even as I began to sweat and my body temperature increased, I experienced no issue with the goggle lense fogging. As you can tell from the picture following my work, you can see that these Skullerz are very effective at performing the simply yet very important task of protecting the eyes. In total, I spend about 3 hours maintaining my lawn each week. So I know the goggles to be plenty comfortable for wear for at least 3 hours of uninterrupted use. I am confident in my assumption that they could be worn for extended periods of at least 6 hours without removing. I'm glad that I have the smoke option for outdoor work but they are really much too dark to do anything indoors so I'd recommend going with the clear option if your job is inside (or get a pair of each and never settle again!). I did attempt to wear a hat with the goggles but it would only sit about half way on my head. Not a big deal if you don't mind looking a little goofy but, just a point I wanted to mention. Overall, I find this product to work as advertised and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
