Product details
Enforcer Flea Spray for Carpets & Furniture XX kills fleas and ticks and contains a combination of ingredients that kills adult fleas, flea eggs and larvae. One of these ingredients, kills fleas by preventing their development into the adult biting stage. It reaches fleas hidden in carpets, rugs, drapes, upholstery, pet bedding and floor cracks. A treatment with this spray provides continuous flea protection for up to 120 days (4 months) and leaves no objectionable odor or sticky mess. When used as directed, this product will not stain furnishings and carpeting. Use an Enforcer® product registered for flea control on pets in conjunction with this treatment. Do not re-enter treated areas until completely dry. The flea pupae (cocoon) stage is not affected by this product because the cocoon is very difficult to penetrate. Repeated treatments and daily vacuuming required to kill fleas newly emerged from the pupae stage. Note: It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Please refer to the product container label for all DIRECTIONS FOR USE, PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS, FIRST AID, and detailed claims. EPA Reg. No. 40849-55

I have been using at least 4 different products and about 1/4 can of this spray in a very small area knocked down the fleas in carpet within hours. The effect was so profound that I was surprised I was not being attacked after about 3 hours and slept well on that spot that night, about 3 hours later. I had been spraying other name brands and vacuuming once or twice daily for three weeks with no effect after 6 hours. They would knock down right away but 6 hours later it seemed like it didn't do anything. I don't know about long term, like the 4 mounths it's supposed to last, but for now, it works better and longer than other products. I live in an apartment complex with tons of stray cats, a couple stray dogs, and trash strewn everywhere. Flea heaven.
