It helps and he loves it picky eater
My grandson loves this. In the beginning I had issues so what I did was I would mix it literally with a half Carnation instant breakfast and then the other half add this until he could drink a full one without any mixture at all in the beginning he did not like the taste or the smell but we overcame it.

Loved the taste

On top of that she's a little birdy style eater who eats very little, frequently throughout the day. I was really concerned about her getting everything she needs nutritionally.
