Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: avoid alcoholic beverages. Stop use and ask a doctor if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 2 weeks. Insomnia may be a symptom of serious underlying medical illness. This stuff is awesome! I started out taking the recommended dose but had to cut back so I wouldn't sleep too late the next morning. I gradually increased as my body adjusted to it. One plastic cupful (comes with Zzquil half an hour before going to bed assists me falling asleep Within a short time. When I don't take it because I run out, I lie awake for two hours or longer. I buy the 2 pack of vanilla cherry if I can find it. I also take the mixed berry. There is no residual effect the next morning.
