not as many as you would think

These sardines were really tasty, but I thought they would be packed like, well, sardines. There were five sardines floating a a can of hot sauce. I thought they were going to be a great bargain, but unless you are going to drink the sauce, they are not really worth it.

Tasted fine but are these really sardines?

Tasted good and only a hint of spiciness. The price of the can is also very good. But.... I'm no expert and I'm used to the typical sardines in oil that are the size of a snow pea pod. The sardines that came in my can were pretty big and looked different that the sardines I'm used to.
