My Absolute Favorite

I have been eating this salsa for YEARS! It is sooooo delicious and has the right amount of kick/spice. Great flavor. I am super picky when it comes to salsa and I find most that aren't homemade ranging from ok to awful. I will continue to buy this as long as they make it.

The Best Hot Sauce on the Planet

My wife is from Mineola Texas and she's been going to El Fenix restaurants all her life. When I met her parents before we were married I got to experience the quality of their foods and was hooked. They were even featured on a Food Network show (which prompted a trip to Texas for El Fenix!!) We have been having El Fenix hot sauce shipped to Ohio by the case (still less expensive - with shipping - than major brands). Lately we've been buying this AT WALMART IN OHIO!!!! Try it, you'll like it.

Amazing stuff

If you're a Dallas native, you're familiar with El Fenix restaurants. In my opinion it's the standard by which all TexMex places should be measured. They've always called it hot sauce but it's not like Tabasco or Texas Pete, it is a picante sauce like Pace. It's great by itself with chips and is wonderful in recipes too. I use it in most of my TexMex cooking. This is a great find for a native Texan missing the flavors of home.
