Absolutely perfect for a 7-9 year old!!

Incredible glove right out of the box for an 8 yr old. The "Select Cowhide" is super soft and required no breaking in. We are on our second season and only reason for change is the need for a larger glove.

Good starter glove.

Good youth glove that is ready to go out of the box. Very minimal break in required. It doesn't seem like a glove that will last more than 3 seasons of use but by the time it wears out they should be moving into a new glove anyway.

FLIMSY after break-in

These gloves are so flimsy that after break-in they are totally useless. Unless caught exactly in the pocket in direct path of the throw or hit, there is a huge chance the glove will bend and the ball will drop out. Better make sure to use 2 hands.
