Great compact tool
I've had this impact about 4 weeks. Bought it due to doing alot of work in tight spaces and wanted to try something smaller and it has been great. The power it has for a 12v has impressed me enough I've already bought 3 other tools in the 12v line.

Just the right amount of power
This is a great kit. However when I first got it I was a little disappointed. The electronic digital mode selector peaked my interest at first and thats why I initially purchased the kit. When I first attempted to drive some 3" drywall screws I was like "wow this thing is powerless." I also own the DCF850 and DCF887, so im used to impact drivers with some oomphf. I almost thought about returning or reselling the kit, but fate stepped in. I do alot of wood working and usually have to use my drill or Xtreme screwdriver, but when i was working on building some cabinetry i decided to tried out the Xtreme impact driver instead. Wow. It was the feeling when you actually have the right tool for the right job. I was able to control and sink screws into wood so perfectly and effortlessly. No worrying about accidentily splitting the wood or over driving screws. This replaced the DCF601 as my best friend in the work shop. I use this impact for everything now while my other impact drivers collect dust.
