We have an eight year old Dachshund mix that hurt his back trying to jump on our couch. Having seven back surgeries myself, I knew what a back brace can do to help stabilize your spine and ease the pain. I purchased the back brace and it came in within a couple of days. I was worried he wouldn't like it and think it was a winter sweater but, he actually likes it! I put it on him when we go for walks because he gets so excited he literally jumps off curbs. I still put him in it for a couple of hours a day even though he's done with all of his medication's from the vet visit. He can't wear it too long as it is summer but, I think come winter he will like it even more. it fits him perfectly. Highly recommend.
