Glue is sticky. Cannot reposition misaligned tiles

The glue on these peel and stick tiles is extreemly sticky. I used a bubble level (spirit level) to draw a straight line on my bathroom floor. I laid the first 3 or 4 tiles down correctly (edge of the tile was in-line with the edge of the marker line on the floor. a tile down, but I eventually put down a tile which was rotated off slightly. It overlapped an existing tile by 1/8 inch. When I tried to peel the tile off of the floor, the tile split in half. The built-in foam underlayment, and glue, stuck to the floor. The slippery plastic stuff which looks like stone marble came off in my hand. Do not use unless you can position it perfectly or don't remove the disposable paper. Maybe glue the backing paper to the floor with a mild adhesive.
