This dry shampoo is very effective for dark and thick hair! My hair is naturally a dark brown, so not all dry shampoos work well for me. With this spray, I can easily get a super even spread around my roots without the cast being thick or leaving any white, which is amazing. It doesn't weigh down my hair or make it feel itchy/flaky whatsoever. I will say, a little goes a long way with the product. It smells very strong though, so if you don't like sweet/gourmand scents (I smell a strong vanilla/caramel scent) then it might be too much for you (although it does fade with time). 2 x I bought the large size and both times after using half the bottle the spray was clogged . I couldn't get it unclogged and had to throw both bottles away. What a waste of money.
