As a Playology toy is chewed, the scent is released to keep dogs engaged - plus the smell lasts for at least 6 months! Extra durable, with specially shaped fibers that wick away slobber, and the added safety benefit of not tearing in long pieces that can block a dog's digestive tract Made with dog-safe materials. This toy is tested to meet CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) standards for lead and phthalates. Treat free - Unfortunately, over 50% of U.S. dogs are overweight. Thank you for your review! All of our toys are scented. Sometimes, the scent may fade a little when it is on a shelf for a while or it may not be strong to your nose, but your pup should be able to smell it. You can try bending and rubbing the toy in your hands. This will help to release some of the microencapsulated scent within the material of the toy and hopefully encourage your pup to chew! If this doesn't help, please email karen@playologypets.com.
