I do all of the "odd jobs" around the house, which include fixing the cases of other implements or parts that have broken from years of use (or abuse), carpentry, making custom containers of all sorts as necessary, plumbing, electrical fixes, etc. I also do some purely creative work. I had a much older model rechargeable Dremel and was so thrilled when it finally died (I'm one of those uber practical people). I love the corded model (everything I buy now is corded - the battery models just aren't worth the trade-off for power and readiness). I also like all of the accessories available now. It's also very steady in the hand and quiet (comparatively. The tips are easy to change, too, even for an old lady!! :)
