best robot vacuum

I've had armies of neato and roomba. all of them significantly less expensive, and not self emptying or mopping. i was very hesitant to spend so much, but the reality is we needed more help with day to day cleaning. we thought self empty, PLUS it can mop? it's cheaper than a couple months of a maid, not that i would know what that's like, so we bought it. and we aren't disappointed. if you keep the lights on where it is running it will avoid dog and cat poop. we even had it avoid vomit. is it perfect? no. today it ate a sock but i forgot to turn the lights on so the camera couldn't see it. we know, even with automatic scheduling, take a quick walk thru the house and check for the obvious. the times we missed it were because the pet went or got such while the robot was running. how is mopping? it's no substitute for a deep scrub. think of this as a step or three above a Swiffer. BOTTOM line: day to day cleaning is SUPERB. we now do a hand clean every couple weeks. and the house and floor stay SPOTLESS. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

First robot vacuum owned. Did countless hours of research. Read reviews, watched videos, scoured the web and landed on the L10s Pro Ultra Heat, and I could not be happier with my decision. From the tech packed into this robust machine to the attention to detail in the thorough cleaning processes. This robot vacuum is a real Dreame Machine. Perfect robot helper for a house full of cats!

The Dreame L10s Pro has been a game-changer for maintaining my multi-pet household. Setup was a breeze, and the device was ready to clean within minutes. It excels at picking up fur and debris left by my three cats (two long-haired and one short-haired) and even handles mopping duties with ease, which is perfect for cleaning up my frequent kitchen spills. I appreciate its innovative features, such as obstacle recognition (it avoids cat toys!) and the ability to customize cleaning schedules. The clean and dirty water tanks are simple to access and maintain, and its lightweight design makes it easy to carry between floors. The mopping function is especially impressive; I use it three times a week and only need to clean the base monthly. It is much less work than manual mopping. However, there are minor drawbacks. The robot struggles a bit with fur on a tightly-piled area rug (though this rug has always been a challenge for vacuums), and it occasionally catches or moves the corners of area rugs. The lack of per-floor carpet avoidance settings is a bigger inconvenience; I have to manually adjust this setting in-app depending on the floor, and forgetting to change it back impacts cleaning efficiency. Despite these quirks, the Dreame L10s Pro is an excellent cleaner for hard floors and a reliable helper for busy households. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to simplify their cleaning routine.
