Dr. Squatch Bourbon Barrel bar soap is a win. The scent is warm and manly, like a mix of oak, vanilla, and a little smoke without being overpowering. The bar lathers really well, rinses clean, and doesn't leave skin feeling dried out like cheaper soaps. It also lasts longer than I expected.

The Feel: Unlike mass-market detergent bars, this leaves my skin feeling hydrated and clean rather than dry and tight. You can tell the ingredients (like shea butter and olive oil) are high quality. Small Tip: This is a natural bar, so it will dissolve faster if left in water. Make sure to use a soap saver or a well-draining rack to get the most life out of it.
