Dr. Brown's Options+ Narrow Baby Bottle, 8 oz/250 ml, 3-Pack

These are the only bottles I would buy for my babies. They are a hassle to clean but, don’t let that stop you from buying them especially if you have a gassy or refluxy baby! The vents prevent the bottle from creating a suction, so baby gets continuous flow without air or built up pressure like other bottles.

TLDR: returned because narrow opening makes pouring powder formula in and cleaning difficult It’s lightweight and plastic, which seems good for little hands. But, the opening is small, which makes pouring in scooped formula difficult and wasteful. Also, I don’t like that there are extra parts to clean (there are pieces inside that I think serve the purpose of getting rid of bubbles, which in turn should help with baby colic/ gas. But, extra parts means more cleaning and more stuff to manage. I purchased it when it was marked down at about $8, which is the price point I would pay for something this quality and quantity (3). A higher price wouldn’t be worth it, in my opinion. I am used to glass bottles that have a bigger opening that the brush can fit in better, and so, is much easier to clean. I used to have one of these with my first kid, who seemed to tolerate the bottle well. Back then, it didn’t seem like too much work to be spending time washing little bottle parts, but I learned otherwise with a second child (nobody has time for that!). I guess this is only a problem for me because I don’t have a dishwasher and I hand wash everything and use a steam sterilizer. I ended up returning it.
