This quilt is lighter than I thought it would be, but super comfortable. It works for year round weather. This holds in body heat but doesn't weigh you down. It is on the longer side which was a happy surprise for me because I hate that comforters are always short on the sides of a bed. This actually hangs over the side of the bed. The fabric is soft and so much better in person, and it doesn't smell which was another plus.
