Missing part

I received (1) extra board, and (1) missing board. Both the same size, but different drill holes. I couldn't just ask for the correct board, instead of boxing it all up and returning it, since my sons old bed was already disassembled. I took wood glue and toothpicks to fill the hole, sawed off the extra after drying, then sanded it flush, then made a drill hole the size I needed to fit the bolt. It worked great but the hassle to do this put me behind on schedule to get it put together, since I also had to wait overnight for the glue to dry. FYI make sure you have all the correct pieces after opening it up, as I did. Wish I could've just ordered the piece I needed, but I only had the option to return the whole thing, and boxing it all up and sending it all back to wait for another would of been more work than it's worth. Little frustrated but good bed.

good bed, could be great

Very sturdy and I'm happy I bought it. I will say the bed comes as dozens of plank boards with no labels. Takes a bit of time to sort what's what by the placement of drill holes. Also, everything is done with a tiny hex key that will leave a nice blister in the middle of your hand. Took 2 days to do by myself, but was worth it in the end. I do recommend finding a pad for the underside of bed, as it is just the hardwood slats over your child's head and accidentally bumping it is unavoidable at times. Would have loved if the board edges were rounded instead of squared for a bit more safety.

Overall good bed.

The design and style of this bed is great. By 4 year old LOVES it and doesn't stop talking about it. My only issues are the tent doesn't stay up, it has sticky pads that don't stick for more than a couple hours at a time and the item also arrived damaged. The white paint on the majority of the legs and sides was pealing off in patches.
