Disney's Women's and Women's Plus Nightmare Before Christmas Sleepshirt with Socks

Disclaimer: I am reviewing this sleep set in July, when the temperature is consistently in triple digits. Therefore, I have not actively used it yet. However, I have washed it and tried it on, so here is my review: This Nightmare Before Christmas “sleepshirt with socks” set is incredibly soft and comfortable! The word “shirt” is a bit misleading, because it's more like a nightgown, but I suppose since it falls just above the knee, some might consider it too short for the word “gown.” Anyway, after laundering the set, I could not detect any fading or cracking in the character print. Jack, Sally, and Oogie's crew still look awesome. The length didn't seem to shrink either, when washed in a delicate cycle, cool temperature, and tumble dried on low heat. I'm 5'5” and the medium comes to an inch above my knees. The sleeves are full-length as well. The socks are thigh-high, which is nice, but the type of elastic used in them makes me suspect they won't stay up as high after a few washes. I'd love to be proven wrong, though. They don't have any character design woven into them, but the stripes are perfect as an accent to the sleepshirt/nightgown/dorm lounger. Though the weather isn't appropriate for wearing this right now, I plan to wear it as often as possible when the weather turns cool. I would go so far as to call it a “must have” for any female Nightmare Before Christmas fans!
