Disguise Boys' Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Deluxe Costume - Size 7-8

We gave this to my almost 5 year old son for Christmas and he LOVES it. He wore it all day on Christmas and has worn it all day every day since. First, to anyone concerned about sizing, we bought the small 4-6 and it fits well. My son will turn 5 in one month. He normally wears an Osh Kosh 4 or 5T in pants and a 5T in shirts. He's tall but thin. This costume is not tight on him. It fits nicely. It is supposed to be snug, to give a real Buzz fit, but for us, there is definitely some room for him to grow. The length is good, a little long in the legs, but that's good for growth. The hood is snug to get on, but again, my son has no trouble getting the hood on by himself. It would be nicer if the seam around the hood were elastic, but it's still fine. The bottoms of the legs, the wide part, pull on separately over the costume. My son says he feels like they slide down, so I'm going to tack them in place with a little thread so they will become attached to the costume legs. Second, I have already had to wash this costume 3 times because it has been worn so much and had food spilled on it. I have an HE washer with a low profile agitator. I've used the hand wash cold, low spin setting, air dry, and the costume is holding up well. Finally, so far the costume hasn't started "running" from the velcro catching the material. If you've owned my of these types of costumes, you've probably noticed that they start to tear and run because the velcro catches on the costume. Of course, we've only had this a few days, but the material SEEMS a little better quality, a little heavier where it velcros, and the velcro doesn't appear to stick to the costume material. Overall, this is a really wonderful, realistic looking costume. We bought the inflatable Buzz wings to go with it, and with or without the wings, this is one nice costume. I would recommend it for any Buzz fan!
