These are great shorts for boys. I have a very athletic 10-year old and we buy these shorts every year for back-to-school. They hold up to A LOT of wear and tear and I am still able to pass them down to his younger brother. They are perfect for school uniforms since they don't have cargo pockets. The length is great too, they come to his knee, but not past. The adjustable waist is perfect for a growing boy too, they will last us all year.
