Dice Forge Family Strategy Board Game by Asmodee for Ages 10 and Up

This is a super-fun dice rolling game. The winner is the person who has the most victory points at the end of the game. You begin the game with two dice which grant you various resources, you can then use these resources to grant you victory points or you can use them to give yourself better dice faces. You actually remove the die faces like LEGOs (I checked they actually are LEGO-compatible) and replace them with better faces that grant you better resources. Everyone rolls on everyone's turn and then you get to spend the resources on your turn. So it's very engaging for players and you're not waiting around bored for your turn. I actually was able to get my 9yo to play and he beat me at it! But it's still fun enough for just my wife and I to ply by ourselves. There are modifications for only 2 players that I think make the game a little less fun but they have to balance the game for fewer players. I think that the biggest challenge with the game is that the effects of dice/cards are represented by symbols so you have to refer to the manual a lot for what they all do. But that is a very minor issue that I have. I love this game and it was worth every penny.

Great game for teens and adults. I love that everyone gets to roll and be active every turn. A strategic game, not a battle. Each person is trying to score the most point to win.
