This greenhouse was purchased to protect the potted summer hibiscus to survive over the winter. The greenhouse is located on our screen porch, so it is protected from wind, heavy rain, and any snow, and will allow the family car to enjoy the garage this winter. It was daunting to open the box to find a sea of metal poles. The directions had pictures of the various poles, but they were too small to distinguish their differences. Halfway through the construction process, we discovered that the poles were actually numbered with black script numbers about mid-pole. The directions were correct: this is a two-person job, and an electric drill with a hex screw bit is most helpful. Other hints: put in the screws so that the ends and nuts are on the inside, and pay attention to the "male and female" ends of the poles. The first greenhouse construction is a learning experience to understand the construction logic; the second onward will be easy and probably constructed in less than an hour. And, if all else fails, the directions include in very large type, a 1-800 helpline. The plastic goes on easily, is a tight fit and should last several seasons depending upon weather and exposure. This green house is an affordable option and recommended.
