I purchased these to cut back on the amount of paper towel I'm using. I have an elderly dog who has trouble controlling her bladder, and go through a lot of paper towel cleaning up after her. I hoped these would be the answer, however, they are not at all absorbent. I see on the package that they are for cleaning grease off your hands. Wish I had known this before I purchased them. They are not really towels. They are odd sized pieces of cloth die blue.
