Designers Fountain Porter 1 Light Old Satin Brass Pendant, D246M-15P-OSB

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This handsome pendant lamp's simple design will work with a lot of interiors. Check the dimensions because the glass shade was even larger than I expected from the description, which I see as a positive. Great for entryways or above tables. There isn't a lot of adjustment in the shaft, so I had some difficulty installing it plumb from our slant ceiling. I was able to install the light in about 45 minutes, and I'd consider myself to be only basically skilled in home improvement projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Porter 1 -Light Old Satin Brass Pendant is a very nice lighting fixture. It is large in size. I like the contrast of the clear glass paired with the almost industrial look of the brass. It is very simple and stylish at the same time, and makes a great centerpiece of décor wherever it is in the house. I installed this pendant in my utility room. I had a standard shell type light fixture cover in there and wanted to give that room more of a classy, comfy, special look. The only drawback, is the ceilings in there are shorter than inside my house, so I just mounted it flush to the ceiling without using any of the extension pieces. It was easy to install, and took about half an hour. This fixture is not that heavy, even though it may look like it. Because the light cover is clear glass, more light shines through, and it is brighter in that room when I am using it. It adds a touch a class to that space which I really like. The pendent poles come in three pieces that screw together, so you adjust it to your height preference. I will hang onto these, should I want to move this to a different room with higher ceilings. The quality is really good and feels well made. It looks great in that room and is a nice upgrade. I would recommend it.
