The Pieta is the most passionate piece of sculpture I have ever seen, at Saint Peter's basilica, and life-changing. I am overwhelmed each time I look at it, daily, and my morning and evening prayers are so focused on the sacrifice of my Savior. Thank God for His of art to those who love Him and glorify Him in their lives and talents. This piece from Toscano is so beautiful and reflects the compassion and beauty that the artist intended .
