Good DIY fix.

Worked as intended. You get three of the magnets, supposedly as backups in case you ruin one during installation. But the tool removed the old magnet easily, and using the opposite end of the tool, installed the new one without problem. So I have spare magnets for the next time that part wears out.

WHY ARE people complaining, its FREE! For life!

Anyone complaining about the price, needs to know Delta will send this to you free of charge for the life of the product as its covered by their lifetime warranty, you just need proof of purchase (they rarely ask for it) OR if you've got a whole bunch of delta products, register them to your address and name and DELTA will keep the records for you. Delta has sent me replacement valves, magnets, cartridges, you name it for my suite of products in our home, only once have I actually been asked for proof of purchase (they say its required). As for these magnets, when you install them, apply lots of silicone grease inside before inserting the magnet and again after around the plastic magnet. The grease isnt their to lube anything, its purpose is to keep water from sitting against the magnet and eventually penetrating and rusting the non-neodinuim magnet.
