Knobs are really ergonomic to handle and operate the opening and closing of the door. But, during its installation there are scratch marks over the surface of metallic, wooden, as well as glass doors. In this context, it is important to add a base plate, that protects the door and keeps the knob firmly attached to the surface. The base plate is a simple circular hardware that has an insertion slot for the stem of the knob.
