Delta 75160 Dryden Side Tank Lever

Even though the responses to some questions are WRONG, I wish I had read some of the questions as doing so would have alerted me and got me reading more. Although described as “universal,” IT ISN'T UNIVERSAL. If the unit came so the user could reverse the direction of the lever's (spring assisted) return, I'd be writing a very favorable review. As it is, I cannot use it in my Kohler Sans Souci toilet, because the flushing mechanism interferes with the swing of the of arm. If the unit came with two springs wound in the opposite directions, the unit would come very close to being universal. It doesn't - just one spring. The unit seems well constructed and I suspect would be durable. Moreover, I really like its appearance. Consequently, I will continue to try to find a suitable spring coiled in the opposite direction. If the unit was universal, I would have given it five stars.

Do not purchase unless you want to push the lever down inconveniently and different from any other toilet lever. The lever is facing towards the back and I am told that is the only way it will work. Unless you want to lift the handle to flush....maybe you are suppose to lift?
