Biotene Oral Balance Alcohol Free Dry Mouth Moisturizing Gel, Unflavored,1.5Oz,For Children & Adults

My mouth was so wrecked from being on oxygen with out the humidity (still waiting) I went on to Walmart site and started looking for something to help! I found this! It said it would help my mouth and tongue and lips! Wow it did! I rubbed it around my mouth and lips and it made everything feel so much better! I'm going to keep some of this around from now on! The inside of my mouth feels OK now but I keep using it on my lips! It makes everything so much better! Love it!

I have severe dry mouth due to autoimmune issues and radiation therapy that destroyed some salivary glands. This is the only dry mouth product I've found that is thick enough to last and stay on my gums and where I need it. I've tried all the sprays, a good start if you don't have severe dry mouth, but I need to use them more often and they didn't always work well. Biotene is also by far the best tasting. It is a very mild, gentle mint. I've tried the melts, do any of them stick to where you put it? I can never get them to work and they're too annoying to fuss with. I sincerely hate how expensive these are. I can go through one in one day depending on my symptoms and how much I need to talk to people. As you can imagine, that really adds up and is really expensive. I honestly don't think they need to cost so much. Especially for people who suffer, why isn't there a prescription option available? Anyway, this is by far the best in taste and long lasting and does everything I need and could hope for. I just need it to be less cost prohibitive.
