Just Like Grandma Used To Make!
I picked this sauce out of the three Delallo sauces available on the website for two reasons - no added sugar and no citric acid. I don't like my tomato sauces to be sugary sweet, and my husband, the picky eater, claims that any tomato sauce with citric acid is bitter. This sauce tastes unbelievably fresh! It reminded me of my grandmother's garden-grown canned tomatoes. It is literally sunshine in a jar. It is Margherita style - fresh and simple, with little to get in the way of the taste. However, that may also mean if you typically eat American-style pizza, you may want to add some extra spices. I cannot subtract a star simply because I'm used to pizzeria style. This sauce delivers as promised and is truly delicious in its own way.

Pizza sauce opinion
Excellent, a sweet flavor with natural ingredients, i always look at the labels for quality in jar pizza sauce. My only complaint is I can only make a 16" pizza for my stone and there is always sauce left over in the jar, so now I use the whole jar which over power the cheese.

The best pizza sauce available in a jar.
If you've ever eaten tomatoes in Italy, you know that they are different (better) than in the U.S. You can taste the difference in this sauce. No added sugar (which is an American, inauthentic Italian ingredient) and a taste just like a margherita pizza in Italy. It is not the only sauce we will buy for pizza. Bravo!
