De Cecco pasta is made with premium durum wheat and cold spring water. The dough is slowly kneaded, resulting in pasta with excellent flavor, texture, and consistency. It cooks to perfection, with a firm texture and a fresh pasta taste. Its rough surface helps sauces stick. Since 1886, we've used traditional methods like bronze drawing and slow drying to create pasta that’s always “al dente.” Orzo is a small, fun-shaped pasta, perfect for soups and broths. It’s often enjoyed in vegetable soups or baby food. Orzo is great in clear broths, creamy soups, or as a base for hearty dishes. Buon Appetito!

Suggestions for Perfect Cooking: Use 6 quarts of water per 1 lb of pasta. Bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt and the pasta. Stir from time to time. Cook for 11 minutes, drain and season. Store in a cool dry place.
