DAP Alex Plus 10.1 oz White All Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone

While this isn't the most durable brand, it's not bad at all, especially for the price! My house is 100 years old, so I've gone through tube after tube of this stuff just to try to get everything sealed up before the snow flies. It gets used on the frames around my windows, doors, any random cracks I come across (and there are plenty lol), and I've even used it for random projects like sealing up cracks in the chicken coop, sealing the seams around the tub, toilet and where the kitchen and bathroom counters meet the wall. Cleaning up is easy-peasy, and it's easier to work with than the pure silicone stuff, which can be more important than one might realize in a very busy country household when one never knows when one has to drop everything and deal with critter drama or otherwise haha! It does better if it's painted over once it's dry, but I've gotten easily 5 years per application using this brand.

I really like this caulking because it's easy to use and it spreads evenly. And it does dry fairly quickly to be able to be painted over without ruining the job that was already done. I personally use it indoors and Outdoors around old windows anything that might need a little crack to be sealed up. And when painted over it looks really nice. Even if you happen to get a little more on the space then need be needing to wipe it off with your finger and spread it in the next section it's very easy to work with. Picture is finished talking on new counter backsplash all the old cupboards on the top and then paint it over. And I really haven't noticed any cracking which is nice because you wanted smooth after you paint it. A window that was broken during Hurricane Milton was boarded to be able to used for a window air conditioning unit. As you can see all the white paint is covering the caulking and it came out really nice smooth and clean. And I like it because this caulking is not super expensive so I wouldn't Buy all those others I say they're better when this is just as good.
