SUNEX 2 Ton Low Profile Service Jack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to test this Sunex 6602LP Service jack. The jack came ready to go as the air was already bled out of the pump. All I had to do was assemble the handle and off I went! I used this service jack to lift a vehicle while performing a four wheel brake service. The jack worked flawlessly. I only had to pump the jack handle twice and the saddle had already contacted the lift point on the bar. 3 more pumps and the tire was off the ground. I noticed the jack was very consistent throughout each use. The rear casters made positioning the lift arm very easy even under conditions where I didn't have a lot of leverage (on the ground setting the saddle up to the lift point, using one arm, ect). I appreciate the small detailed like the knurled top portion of the handle for good grip. I liked the handle bumper (foam cover) on the lower half of the jack handle as extra insurance that the vehicle panels will not be marred in case of contact. The jack sat under the car and stayed positively in place. I feel this is due to the wide stance of the front wheels and the long wheel base. Another reason the jack stays so well grounded is the structure. The jack is all metal (steel) and tips the scales at nearly 100 pounds. Bend and lift! Above all, the jack worked well, was easy to use, and was assuring my stable during my application. This jack outperforms other jacks I have owned and used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received well packaged. Handle initially was tight to install due to heavy paint at handle end, but once in pump turned easily. Lifting vehicle performed well, was stable while rocking vehicle. Easy release and control to lower vehicle. Have other brand jacks that tend to release hard and drop fast. Only negative is saddle plate would slide on frame due to shallow cleats. With bolt retainer on saddle, possible to make different adapters.
