I bought this vacuum thinking I could vacuum the rugs with it but it tries to suck them up as well. The vacuum does a good job. It vacuumed up a lot of dog hair. Just not as good as my Dyson.

The problem is the vacuum casing is not made of great quality The clips that held dust container broke and I had to replace the belt 2 x all within first month I returned it. If the casing could match the power it would be a great vacuum
