I put this in the kitchen to have something to watch while I cook. This TV seems to work well. It has an auto- programmer for quick set up. (I already had Roku in 2 other rooms, so it copied my selections on to this TV.) Pretty smart. Good clear, crisp picture. The sound is pretty good. Not weird or tinny. Has a mode where you can turn down commercial ads, which is excellent. This was on special for $99, so if it lasts 2-3 years, I will still have gotten my money's worth. Buy one.

This is my fourth TCL tv we own The menu is so simple and the quality and picture is great. Cannot Believe how cheap TVs cpst be nowadays. I do recommend this TV for you or your child. To add this TV is super light weight We hung it up on a tv stand with no problem.
