I was going to used this as part of my school's float in the Christmas parade however, I did not realize that they were powered by usb. This was my oversight for not reading the description. I did use them as part of my setup for our hallway decoration at the school and they were perfect.

Okay so I paid 16.99 for a set of three curtains of remote-control fairy lights and I got remote-control fairy lights so at the end of the day I'm decently happy, hence 4 stars. Half of the pictures or more in the product listing are not accurate. Keep in mind that these are fairy lights and NOT Christmas lights - so these are the tiny delicate leds on super thin wire. If that's what you want, I would recommend. If you're looking for something that has weight to it (even enough to hang in straight lines or drape like a canopy) this is not what you want. I was going to pull these to each side and tie them like you do with regular curtains but that just won't work with how light and springy they are and how easily they tangle. The first several shots in the product video are accurate for reference. They come with each string in its own little ring tied up nice and neat, which is great, but also means they're (possibly permanently) quite curled up and like a spring. Even when you stretch them out they're still kind of wavy. Keyword: SPRING. If you have cats I would think twice before buying these. Not necessarily choose not to buy, but think twice. My teenage kitty decided before I opened the box that whatever was inside was her new plaything, and the fact that the first several modes of lighting are flashing or twinkling only added to the excitement. I know her so I carefully supervised while she batted at each strand after I'd hung them up and she got bored pretty quickly with the solid light setting. But definitely supervise your pets with these to see how they'll react. The brightness is good for what I want - something in between a lamp and a nightlight. Actually the amount of light is probably similar to a nightlight, just spread out across the wall. I will say they're not super warm for being “warm white” - not like warm white incandescent or imitation Christmas lights. They're slightly warmer than neutral light. A plus is that they do not flicker on solid white like some LED string lights that don't have the right thingy to use alternating current or however electricity works. Okie those are my thoughts.
