Crosman Brand Pumpmaster 760 177 pellet rifle

Bought for a grandson's Christmas gift. It shoots fairly well and is well-made for the price. As a first-time "gun" for a 7-year-old, it serves the purpose of training firearm safety, use of open sights, and safety procedures as taught to adults in Firearm Safety classes. He was thrilled with it and I would repurchase it for any grandchild. Boys and girls need to understand safety procedures with any firearm. This is the perfect starter firearm for adults to teach their offspring or extended family members. Plus, the style mimics the Remington 760 pump rifle. Great teaching tool.

Perfect rifle

This is a great pellet rifle. I had used one in the past but this one takes it to another level. It's fairly quiet and it is easy to use and the scope that comes with it is just right for the type of rifle that it is. I highly recommend this particular air rifle over others out there on the market.

1.) Anyone reading be aware: there will (probably) be NO RETURNS on this item. You will be taking your chances with Crosman customer service. (I knew this and still bought it.) 2.) ALL of the "wood" is plastic. However, it still seems sturdy, solid, and loads and functions well. 3.) The SIGHTS are a problem. It consistently shoots to the left, and there are no provided instructions on how to correct this, and no adjustable settings on the gun itself OR in the manual. It shoots low no matter how I adjust the sight up or down. It's not too bad when maxed out, but still not on point. 4.) Accuracy is FAR FAR more repeatable than my much-more expensive Gamo Whisper Silent Cat, which makes me miss over 90% of my shots, for a plethora of mysterious reasons. I'll be selling it cheap :) I had one of these as a kid, and it was a good gun back then, and is (probably) still a good gun. I'm hoping for tips and videos on the 'net for adjusting the sights.
